Kaudulla National Park morning tour provides you a chance to see mostly birds such as Peacock, Eagle, Pelicans, Parrots, Crane, Parakeet, Owl, Horn bill & etc. Also, other animals like Deer, wild rabbits, wild boar, gray rangers, purple-faced leaf monk, Fox & water buffaloes. There are many elephant herds as they graze on the grasslands near the Kaudulla tank bed. If you join our afternoon tour you will see more elephants than the morning.
Overview
- In addition to the elephants, sambar deer, Sri Lankan axis deer, chevrotain, wild boar, Asian spoonbill, grey-headed fish eagle, painted stork and openbill stork are common visuals at Kaudulla National park. Aside from these, one could rarely capture the glimpse of leopard and sloth bear in the forest.
